Avex Mobile Video Converter is a simple application that lets you convert video files from several formats such as AVI, DivX/Xvid, MPEG, Tivo, WMV, RM, MOV to 3GP format compatible with many Cell Phones.
This program lets you trim (by setting start and end points to convert or setting a start point and a duration in seconds) to convert a clip or segment of the video, configure output settings like bit rate, resolution, codec, frame rate, sampling rate, etc. choose audio volume and video brightness, split output to several files, and let the program automatically shutdown your computer. If you need to convert a lot of files, a batch processing tool is also available (with some limitations).
This mobile video converter has a nice and simple user interface with all the basic tools needed to convert video to 3GP, it lacks editing tools to let you crop or add effects to your video but if your requirements are basic, this software shoud be enough.
